Pineapple Jam – April 11th
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Pineapple Jam Celebration. It will be held on Friday, April 11th at 6pm in the Historic Stranahan House Museum.
The event is a way to commemorate the opening of the museum and provides a full event for everybody. Community leaders Bob and Sandy Moss will be on hand and will also be celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary.
Come out and enjoy an open bar, home tours, dinner, a silent auction and a live auction. The cost is $125 per person.
19th Annual Las Olas Wine and Food Festival – May 2nd
Premier Beverage Company will once again present the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival. This event will start on Friday, May 2nd at 7:30pm and will run until 10pm. It will include all types of wine and food, along with plenty of fun. Over 70 of the best South Florida restaurants will be on hand.
The “Wine from Around the World” event will be back again. If you enjoy great food and wine pairings, this is the event for you. All proceeds will help to support the American Lung Association. Tickets are $100 for general admission and $225 for the VIP Private Party.
Both of these events promise to bring plenty of fun to the Las Olas area of Fort Lauderdale. Whether you prefer a silent auction with dinner or you’d rather enjoy great wine pairings with excellent food choices, either of these events will provide just what you’re after.
