Rock ‘n’ Blues Fest – 201 SW 5 Avenue, Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale is pleased to announce they will be hosting the “Rock ‘n’ Blues Fest” on August 15, 2014. With affordable ticket prices starting at $25 and options all the way to $105, the Au-Rene Theater at Broward Center will be the perfect place to enjoy some rock and blues for the night. The concert begins at 7:00 and the feature artists include:

- Edgar Winter Band
- Vanilla Fudge
- Peter Rivera (Rare Earth)
- Kim Simmonds (Savoy Brown)
Special guest Edgar Winter Band is actually the younger brother of Johnny, and he will be performing his smash hit “Frankenstein” as well as “Free Ride.” A special treat will be the slowed down performance of “You Keep me Hangin’ On” originally by The Supremes, giving it a new rock feel and some hyped-up drumming. Come check out the heart of blues on August 15th at the Broward Center.
Crush Games IV – One Panther Parkway, Sunrise
The Crush Games IV are coming to Sunrise, FL on August 22nd through August 24th between 8:15am-6pm. This will be hosted at BB&T Center for only $15 each day Friday – Saturday and $10 on Sunday, or you can purchase the 3-day pass for $25.
The weekend will feature over 1,000 athletes around the country as they duke it out to see who is the strongest and fastest in this competition. Athletes and fans travel from all over the nation to check out this intense battle first hand, as well as have the opportunity to purchase the newest athletic equipment on the market and win prizes during challenges. For families, there will be a place for kids to spend time and stay entertained, between carnival rides and bounce houses.
