Fort Lauderdale offers plenty of great Halloween events, but for those looking for something else in late October, there’s plenty of great choices. From wine dinner events to music, you can find something without the Halloween theme in the area. Here are a few of the non-Halloween events coming up in October.
Caribe Arts Fest
This is an art festival organized by the artists and provides plenty of great exhibits. The international festival provides the opportunity for residents to enjoy the best art in the area and around the world. With plenty of different genres at the festival, you can enjoy all the art in Downtown Fort Lauderdale from October 17th to 20th.
The Vegan Vine Wine Dinner
On October 23rd at Sublime Restaurant and Bar the Wine Dinner will provide plenty of great fun. The restaurant is located at 1431 North Federal Highway. The wine will come from NBA legend, John Sailey’s winery.
America’s Music: Swing Jazz
From 1pm to 4pm on October 23rd, at the Broward Country Main Library Auditorium, this film will provide a look into the history of jazz music. It’s part of a six-week series, which includes film screenings on many other types of music. Along with the film, Gary Lawrence and Chris LaBarbera will perform at the event.
October 25th at 8pm, the Miramar Cultural Center will feature a great event with one of the best starts from Peru. Eva Ayllon will take the stage and provide excellent dance as she infuses her music with plenty of great sources from the coastal plains of Lima. This is one of the best events coming to the area and tickets range from $30 to $50.
Any of these events will provide a great night out without all the worry of wearing a costume during the Halloween season.
